Courtney Froemming is a screenwriter and PR & media consultant.

After receiving her Masters in Film from American University in Washington, D.C., Courtney has written several screenplays and plays, including: “The Lies We Tell Ourselves,” which was named Best Feature Screenplay and Screenplay of the month at the Los Angeles Film Awards; Best Feature Screenplay, New York Film Awards; Best Narrative Feature, Austin Spotlight Film Festival; Honorable Mention Winner, The Screenplay Festival and the LA Movie Awards; and as a selection of the UK Film Festival; “The Cutting King,” a script about a father and son who compete in cutting contests — jazz piano’s equivalent of king of the mountain — was a finalist on the Massachusetts Film Office’s Screenwriting competition.


Several one-act and ten-minute plays were also produced as part of The Source National Summer Theatre Festival in Washington, D.C., including “Spin Cylce,” which was awarded Best One Act of the Festival.


In addition to screenwriting, Courtney is a PR and media consultant and has worked at firms including Ogilvy PR. She played basketball on scholarship at University of Richmond.


Courtney lives with her husband and four children in Bethesda, MD just outside of Washington, DC.
