About:
Jordan “Jordy” Rader is an award winning Director and DGA Assistant Director with a background in motion-picture, television, and commercial production.
Rader has appeared in titles for Netflix, Lionsgate, 20th Century Fox, Apple TV, Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures Entertainment, ABC Studios, CBS, FX Network, Spike, and TV Land.
Rader’s filmmaking journey started in her childhood where she made her first film when she was only twelve years old. In 2013, she graduated film school with honors and then joined the DGA Training program, launching her career in the entertainment industry.
Her music video “You Can Run” (2015) won Best Music Video, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Cinematography, and her student film “Crimson’s Kiss” (2013) won Best Student Film and Best Editing in various festivals.
In October 2020, Rader's film "Bucko & Junior" won Best Comedy at Top Shorts. It is currently nominated for Best Comedy of the Year at the 8th Annual Top Shorts Film Festival.
"Bucko & Junior" also won Best Comedy at LAFA (Los Angeles Film Awards) and at FilmCon Awards.
Most recently, Rader's latest film "The Invite" won 4 awards at FilmCon, including Best Picture, Best Indie Short, Best Comedy and Best Director.
